Ode to being Thankful
I am grateful for each day, and every moment in sight. I am thankful for the challenges that have made me grow. They have taught me to be strong, and to always take it slow. I am thankful for the beauty that surrounds us every day. The sun, the stars, and moon, the colors of the sky so gay. I am thankful for the little things that bring us joy and peace. The warm embrace of someone dear, the melody of a bird's tweet. I am thankful for this life, that is full of love and grace. For all the blessings that we have, and the opportunities that await. So here's to all that we're thankful for, and all that we will be. May our hearts always be filled, with gratitude, love and glee.
