Ode to the Slaughtered Children of SA Oh innocent and pure, the children of our land, A life ahead of them, but now they cannot stand. A boogeyman roams, his intentions cruel and vile, Abduction and slaughter, his plan all the while. How can a human being, do such a horrific deed? A child so small and fragile, with life yet to lead. It tears at our hearts and leaves us feeling low, The news of each loss, just continues to grow. We pray for protection and hold our children tight, May the wicked be brought to justice, may their actions take flight. Rest in peace, little angels, may your souls be free, And may your memory live on, for all the world to see. We will not let their deaths be in vain, We will stand strong, we will fight again.
